SEND Teacher
Location: Cranleigh, Dunsfold Aerodrome Salary: £150-£220 per day (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time / Part-time (flexible options available)
About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teacher to join a supportive educational setting based in Cranleigh, Dunsfold Aerodrome. This role is ideal for a teacher who is passionate about making a meaningful difference in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) .
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet a range of SEND needs
* Support pupils with EHCPs, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
* Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing learning environment
* Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers
* Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress
* Promote positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching pupils with SEND (ASD, SEMH, ADHD, MLD, etc.)
* Strong behaviour management and communication skills
* A patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
