*Job description- 7.5 ton Driver/ Yardhand*
OC Motor Repairs Ltd is an accident repair centre that is part of the One Call Group of companies. It has been established for over 10 years, and is a group of insurance approved vehicle repair centres, working to ensure the highest quality standards are maintained. We specialise in car body repairs and accident crash repairs.
*Work Hours:* 9:00am - 17.30pm Monday - Friday + OVERTIME
*Place of Work:* Unit 25, Flightway, Dunkeswell Business Park, Dunkeswell, Honiton, Devon, EX14 4RD
*Salary: £*13
*Experience: *No experience is necessary as full training is given.
*Qualifications:*
* Full UK driver’s license – C1
* Must have up to 7.5 tonne license
* CPC is essential or passed your test before 1997
*Duties Include*
* To deliver hire cars to customers after they have been involved in an accident.
* To take responsibility for their allocated vehicle and all its associated equipment such as mobile phone and satellite navigation unit and maintain it in a clean and roadworthy operational condition
* To carry out a daily check of all aspects of their allocated vehicle as outlined in the Company Handbook
* To report all vehicle and equipment defects using the appropriate forms
* To insure that all legal compliance is maintained and that any infringement is reported immediately to the Transport Team Leader/Supervisor
* To immediately report all accidents, completing the relevant Accident Report Form and recording this in the Accident Book Skills and competences
* To move vehicles around the yard to create space when needed
* To valet cars, ensuring they are kept clean and tidy
* To ensure the yard is maintained to a suitable standard at all times
