Prospero Teaching are supporting a welcoming and forward-thinking secondary school in the Mold area who are seeking a full-time KS3 Teacher for a long-term role starting in January. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate teacher who enjoys working with pupils at lower secondary level and wants to deliver high-quality, engaging lessons.
The role
As a KS3 Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering creative, well-structured lessons that support pupils' academic progress, confidence and overall development. You'll work closely with the school's pastoral and subject teams to create a positive learning environment where students feel motivated, supported and valued. The school are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, proactive and committed to high teaching standards.
Responsibilities
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across the KS3 curriculum
Creating a supportive and stimulating classroom environment
Assessing, tracking and reporting on pupil progress
Supporting both academic and personal development of students
Managing behaviour in line with school policies
Working effectively with colleagues, support staff and pastoral teams
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents and staffAbout the school
Supportive and established secondary team
Excellent behaviour culture and pastoral support
Well-resourced classrooms and specialist facilities
Easily accessible from Mold, Buckley, Flint, Deeside, Wrexham and surrounding areasThe ideal candidate
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential
Experience teaching KS3 (any subject specialism welcome)
Confident, enthusiastic and able to motivate learners
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, proactive and committed to high standards
Understanding of safeguarding and secondary school policiesSafeguarding
