Position Purpose
Project Managers (PMs) lead in planning, developing, executing, monitoring, and delivering projects. They are accountable for the entire project scope, budget, team, and resources, ensuring successful project execution. The core goals are a Happy Client, Happy Team, and Profit.
Responsibilities
* Project Management: Successful delivery of project scope, schedule, and budget; maintaining client satisfaction; effective communication; managing final deliverables; coordinating engineering, manufacturing, operational, and support disciplines; risk and delay management; active financial management.
* Bidding & Development: Translating client needs into TAIT language; developing proposals and quotes; driving creative and technical solutions; cost estimation; establishing pricing and payment schedules.
* Commercial, Contractual & Legal: Understanding project contracts; acting as client advocate; maintaining relationships; ensuring TAIT's responsibilities are fulfilled and interests protected.
* Project Finances & Budget: Planning cash flow; maintaining payment schedules; developing budgets; tracking forecasts; controlling costs and change orders; risk and opportunity management; providing status reports.
* Organizational Relationships & Participation: Acting as project point of contact; maintaining relationships with leadership and teams; effective communication; participating in meetings; resolving challenges; attending organizational gatherings; administrative tasks.
* Continuous Improvement: Identifying process improvements; participating in initiatives; conducting lessons learned discussions.
* Education and Growth: Building knowledge of TAIT's capabilities; seeking skill development; participating in learning opportunities; working on projects that expand expertise.
Position Requirements
* Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
* Proven track record managing profitable projects
* Ability to prioritize multiple projects
* Experience with commercial and contractual responsibilities
* Cost estimation and control skills
* Risk management experience
* Familiarity with Slack
* Ability to work within a matrixed organization
* HS Diploma/GED with experience in Entertainment or Project Management OR a Bachelor's degree in related fields plus experience
* Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Proficiency in relevant software: MS Office, project scheduling tools, budget analysis tools, ERP, CRM, content management systems
* Knowledge of manufacturing/fabrication processes
* Availability to work in-office Monday-Friday, with up to 30% travel to job sites
