Job Description
Manufacturing Technology Engineer \n Full time on site \n Circa £45,000 depending on experience \n Support and deliver Manufacturing Technology projects throughout their full lifecycle including performing initial research and market scans, proof of concepts, pilots and full implementation projects \n Work collectively in a team, developing and implementing projects to improve the Submarines programme. \n Apply problem solving techniques to progress technology solutions to improve Manufacturing & Construction processes \n Produce and review Manufacturing Technology documents to support the projects through their lifecycle and ensure they are stored appropriately \n Develop and support business justifications to implement new and replacement technologies into Manufacturing Production areas and develop the Cost Benefit from doing so \n Develop and support technology road maps \n Welding and/or Fabrication experience and knowledge in heavy industry \n Knowledge of Technology Readiness Level (TRL)\n Knowledge of the Catapult network \n As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts – you may also be eligible for an annual incentive. \n The Manufacturing Technology team \n Submarines Manufacturing Technology is dedicat...
