Conveyancing Solicitor / Legal Executive
Overview
A small, well-established high street law firm near Solihull is seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its busy team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced conveyancer to manage their own cases independently while developing into a senior management role within a supportive, family-style firm.
You will work alongside a Partner, handling a full range of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion, supported by experienced secretarial staff.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a personal caseload of residential conveyancing matters including:
o Sales and purchases
o Freehold and leasehold transactions
o Transfers of equity
o Re-mortgages
* Act independently, taking ownership of cases from instruction to completion
* Provide excellent client service, maintaining strong client relationships
* Work collaboratively with the Partner and support staff to ensure smooth workflow
* Contribute to the growth of the department and progress into a potential management or senior role
Requirements
* Qualified Conveyancing Solicitor or Legal Executive with at least five years' post-qualification experience handling residential conveyancing independently
* Strong knowledge of residential property law including freehold and leasehold sales, purchases, transfers of equity and remortgages
* Excellent communication and client relationship skills
* Ability to work independently while collaborating with a small team
* Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to progress into senior management
