We are looking for a part-time kitchen porter to become part of our team. Experience is not required. The French Quarter is a relaxed, warm and friendly neighbourhood restaurant & wine bar. the ideal candidate needs to be available to work the evening shifts as well as the occasional lunch shifts. The role will sometimes require you to work past 11pm when public transport is not always available so please bare this in mind when applying.

Reporting to the Head Chef and Managers, the post holder will act as an integral member of the kitchen team, maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen throughout service.
The post-holder must be a team player with a commitment to getting the job done.
Key responsibilities
* Maintaining good working relationships with management, the kitchen team & FOH team
* Complying with all health and safety / hygiene standards & policies
* Washing dishes quickly & efficiently
* Maintaining cleanliness of the dishwashing area and machine
* Maintaining the cleanliness of equipment throughout service
* Correct and full cleaning of the dishwasher machine as per company training
* Correct and full cleaning of all kitchen equipment as per company training
* Ensure the consistency of your work is in line with the standards set by the Head Chef
* Perform duties as required by the senior chefs
