My client, who is the leading manufacturer in their field, is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Development Executive (inbound) to join its Shifnal based team. Reporting to the National Sales Manager, they are looking for someone who is energetic and commercially astute to take full ownership of this exciting role.
Key requirements
* Experience in Internal Sales, estimating or account management within construction, manufacturing or technical products
* Naturally high energy, self-motivated and competitive – thrives on volume and momentum
* Strong questioning and listening skills
* Familiar with CRM systems, (HubSpot preferred)
* Commercially aware and ability to distinguish genuine opportunities from price chasers
* Demonstrated ability to manage high lead volumes and complex quoting pipelines
* Persistent, professional and methodical
* High level communication skills
* Ambitious, hungry and self-driven
Key responsibilities
* Take full ownership of all quotations within specific sector, follow up, track progress and close the deal
* Manage high volume of calls and emails
* Build relationships with contractors, architects and buyers understanding project context and decision-making chains
* Ask probing questions to assess each lead’s potential and price
* Maintain rigorous activity tracking within HubSpot, using automation and AI tools
* Work collaboratively with the estimating, marketing and operations teams
* Protect company margins through value-based selling and disciplined communication
