A leading global financial services organisation is seeking a skilled Network Operations Engineer to join their EMEA Network Support team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a complex, enterprise-scale environment where you'll be responsible for maintaining and enhancing critical network infrastructure that supports business operations across the region.
The Role
* Designing, building, and maintaining high-quality infrastructure solutions.
* Monitoring and managing network performance, diagnosing, and resolving complex issues.
* Developing and implementing automation to improve efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
* Applying secure configurations and safeguarding systems against cyber threats.
* Collaborating with product managers, architects, and engineers to deliver aligned solutions.
* Staying up to date with industry trends and contributing to internal technology communities.
What You'll Bring
* Experience in network operational support within a large enterprise or financial institution.
* Strong troubleshooting ability with proven success resolving complex network issues.
* Solid knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies and associated protocols.
* Experience with security technologies such as Fortigate (FW, IDS, FMG/FAZ), Cisco ASA, and Cisco Tetration.
Desirable Skills
* CCNP certification (or equivalent).
* Hands‑on experience in large multi‑site, multi‑protocol environments.
* Practical expertise with MPLS, Multicast, QoS, and Wireless networking.
