Tradewind Recruitment is working in partnership with a supportive and well-regarded secondary school in Brackley who are seeking a dedicated Mathematics Teacher to join their department. The school is open to offering temporary cover until the end of July, with the potential to secure a permanent position for the right candidate.
The Role
1. Teaching engaging and well-structured Mathematics lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 opportunities may be available)
2. Planning lessons that develop fluency, reasoning, and exam confidence
3. Differentiating effectively to support learners of varying abilities
4. Working collaboratively within a supportive and well-organised Maths department
5. Contributing to wider school life, including enrichment activities such as Maths clubs, STEM initiatives, or competitions
The Ideal Candidate
6. A qualified Mathematics Teacher (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
7. Strong subject knowledge and confidence delivering the GCSE Maths curriculum
8. A passion for making Mathematics accessible, engaging, and enjoyable
9. A positive, committed professional with strong classroom practice
10. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
