Main duties of the job
* Deliver high-quality care to patients, in accordance with the GMS contract
* Prescribe safely and appropriately, in line with local/national guidelines
* Manage long-term conditions effectively
* Undertake shared practice duties including duty doctor cover
* Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks (e.g. referrals, results, prescriptions)
* Maintain accurate and contemporaneous clinical records
* Participate in audits, quality improvement, and clinical governance activities
* Attend practice meetings and contribute to team development
* Support the training of students and junior clinicians
* Engage with appraisals and the revalidation process
* Uphold all practice policies including confidentiality, data protection, and safeguarding
