Are you an experienced Bodyshop Manager seeking a new challenge within the automotive industry? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading accident repair group for a skilled and dedicated Bodyshop Manager to join their busy facility in Harrow, Greater London. Duties:
14. Oversee the daily operations of the workshop to ensure smooth workflow from 7am start
15. Conduct daily team meetings to communicate targets, address issues, and delegate tasks
16. Manage repair progress and vehicle status updates, liaising with the Regional Manager
17. Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and proper use of equipment and tools
18. Oversee the ordering of parts and manage work volumes for incoming and current jobs
19. Maintain high standards of repair quality and consistency throughout all repair stages
20. Monitor stock levels and control both wet and dry supplies effectively
21. Ensure all vehicles have complete 10-stage repair images for accurate job packs
22. Support, motivate, and develop workshop staff to uphold the company’s high standards of service
Requirements:
23. Proven experience as a Bodyshop Manager or similar leadership role within the automotive repair sector
24. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
25. Excellent communication skills and a confident leader
26. Proficient in using IT systems relevant to repair processes and management
27. A co-operative team player who fosters a positive team environment
28. Knowledge of modern repair procedures and health and safety standards
29. Self-motivated and able to work efficiently under pressure
30. Enthusiastic with a passion for delivering excellent customer service
