Program Description
This two‑year apprenticeship is designed to develop the Project Managers of the future. From day one you will be a key member of our project management team, gaining practical on‑the‑job experience within professional project environments and collaborating across a wide range of engineering frameworks. You will work on complex projects for customers across the nuclear sector, focusing on the full project lifecycle from design through to manufacture, construction and commissioning.
Learning & Development
With support from our project management experts you will become experienced in:
* Monitoring project schedules
* Managing stakeholders
* Controlling risks and changes
* Ensuring smooth delivery of projects
You will also develop leadership and management skills. Program completion will give you a Level 4 qualification and the skills needed to pursue a career as a Project Manager.
Qualifications & Training
You will work towards the Level 4 Associate Project Manager Apprenticeship Standard. The apprenticeship is delivered in partnership with Weston College, where you will attend virtual lessons one day every other week; on alternate weeks you will complete off‑the‑job training hours. If based in Bristol you may also attend lessons in‑person.
Successful completion also provides eligibility to progress to Associate Membership of the Association for Project Management (APM).
Requirements
* At least 5 GCSEs at grade 4/C or above
* 2 A levels at grade C or above
* Capacity to obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) clearance – further details available at United Kingdom Security Vetting
