Management Accountant | Harrogate | Up to £50,000 + 1 day WFH
Why this role exists
This is a growing property business in Harrogate that needs someone to take proper ownership of the numbers. The team is small, decisions are made quickly, and the Directors want clearer reporting and tighter control as the portfolio expands.
You won't be a cog in a big finance function, you'll be the person running it day to day.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing monthly management accounts with commentary
* Budgeting and forecasting across multiple property entities
* Cashflow forecasting and monitoring rental income
* Reconciling service charge accounts
* Supporting year-end and liaising with external accountants
* Overseeing purchase ledger and bank reconciliations
* Producing reporting packs for Directors
* Improving processes as the business grows
What they're looking for
* Qualified or part-qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Previous experience in a Management Accountant role
* Property or multi-entity experience would help, but not essential
* Comfortable working in a small team where you roll your sleeves up
* Able to explain numbers clearly to non-finance stakeholders
