Overview
We are excited to offer a permanent Plumber position in HMP Full Sutton, Moor Lane, Full Sutton, York YO41 1PS.
The standard hours of work are 39 hours per week on a rota basis between 08:00 - 17:00 Monday to Thursday; 08:00 - 16:00 Friday to Sunday. There is a need to work 1 in 3 weekends on a rota basis, with an additional allowance of 15% of basic salary.
What you will do
* Routine and non-routine maintenance.
* Mains water supply repairs.
* Fault finding, identification of life expired equipment, checking, repairing and making good faults.
* Inspections, water sampling and risk assessment.
What you will bring
* Full driving licence
* Experience in a commercial environment is desirable
* Experience in operating light plant
* NVQ level 3 in Plumbing and Heating is preferred (we may consider NVQ level 2)
* Legionella Control (L8) is desirable
