Overview
We are establishing a Transformation Portfolio Management Office (PMO) focused on creating a centralised portfolio that drives change, transformation, and continuous improvement. We are currently looking for two Benefits and Efficiencies Analysts to join the team. The PMO shapes and optimises project Portfolios, ensures strategic alignment, enhances decision-making, and provides evidence to manage risk across change and transformation. This role offers hands-on experience in change and transformation with development opportunities and strong support from the team.
You will be an important part of the PMO team, analysing data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio, helping to set standards for benefits and value management and embedding them. You will help teams identify, value, and validate project benefits.
Responsibilities
* Analyse data from PMO colleagues and project/programme managers across the portfolio to inform benefits and value management.
* Help set standards for benefits and value management and support embedding them within projects and programmes.
* Identify, value, and validate project benefits to support decision-making and benefits realisation.
Team
You will join the Portfolio Management Office (PMO) within the Transformation Team of the STA (Strategy, Transformation and Assurance) directorate. The PMO supports change, transformation, and continuous improvement across the business. STA fosters inclusive, supportive cultures and uses evidence and innovation to influence policy and delivery.
Experience / Skills Required
* Strong analytical skills with proven experience as a Benefits Analyst, Efficiencies Analyst, or Business Analyst.
* Experience building and maintaining dashboards or reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel).
* Ability to work collaboratively across organisational boundaries and build constructive relationships.
* Clear communication skills; able to explain complex analysis simply and persuasively to non-technical audiences.
* Self-motivation and adaptability; comfortable working independently as well as in a team.
* Experience producing guidance, toolkits, or frameworks to support colleagues.
* Ability to work effectively with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures, actively considering diversity in work.

Additional Information
* Hybrid working location; EA Office base with national scope.
* Some travel and overnight stays may be required; smart tools are used to stay connected to reduce travel.
