The ideal candidate will support children with special educational needs, ensuring they have the best possible learning experience. Key Responsibilities: Provide one-on-one and small-group support to children with SEN in Key Stage 2. Assist the class teacher in creating and adapting lesson plans and resources. Help manage classroom behaviour, encouraging a positive learning environment. Work closely with parents, carers, and external professionals to support children’s development. Monitor and record pupils' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents. Requirements: Experience working with children with SEN, preferably in a primary school setting. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach to supporting children with diverse needs. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ in Supporting Teaching and Learning). A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
