Job Summary
As Team Manager, you will lead and support a dynamic team of Occupational Therapists and OT Assistants delivering person‑centred, strength‑based interventions. You will ensure high‑quality service delivery, promote independence, and support wellbeing through innovative and responsive practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and develop a team of OTs, OTAs, and Apprentice OTs.
* Oversee and audit assessments, OT planning, and provision of equipment and adaptations.
* Ensure compliance with statutory duties and local policies.
* Collaborate with Health, Housing, and community partners.
* Drive service improvement and innovation.
* Monitor performance and ensure value for money.

About You
You are an HCPC‑registered Occupational Therapist with substantial post‑qualification experience in Adult Social Care and have advanced knowledge of minor and major adaptations (DFGs), specialist equipment, and Adult Social Care legislation.
* Proven leadership and team management skills.
* In‑depth knowledge of legislation including, but not exclusive to, the Care Act, Housing, Mental Capacity Act, and Moving and Handling.
* Excellent communication, decision‑making, and partnership working abilities.
* Strong interpersonal skills with a coaching approach to management.
* An openness to new ideas and the ability to inspire others to confidently embrace change.
* Being a car driver is essential due to the nature of the role.
