Your Role
Experience working in one of Yorkshire’s largest in-house tax teams
This is a tax role that offers the opportunity to advise and influence one of the UK’s largest supermarket retailers.
Supported by the Head of Tax, the role includes involvement in a broad range of tax matters, such as transaction tax support, the R&D process, HMRC enquiries, Transfer Pricing and Financing support, and support on tax compliance matters including tax accounting under IFRS.
This is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and experience, with the support of an established tax team, to further your career development.
Although the tax team of 10 is within the finance function, you will have broad responsibilities that extend beyond finance into the wider business. You will work with and gain exposure to various parts of the retail environment, helping to understand changing tax legislation and influencing decision-making across ASDA.

* Ideally, you will be a qualified tax manager
* ACA or CTA qualified
* A strong corporate tax background is essential, including experience in preparing corporation tax computations and tax disclosures for statutory accounts.
