Our client, a globally recognised law firm, is actively seeking an experienced England & Wales Qualified Lawyer to join them on a permanent basis in their London office - working as their new Head of Conflicts.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join and manage an established Business Acceptance team across the UK and EMEA. This role will require you to lead the firm's conflicts function (outside of the US) - overseeing conflicts clearance, risk management and compliance. You'll also manage the In-House and Senior In-House Lawyers.
As the successful Head of Conflicts, you'll be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:
- Responsible for day-to-day management of the In-House Lawyers
- Reviewing and analysing complex conflicts reports
- Providing strategic oversight and be the senior escalation point on conflict resolution
- Developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies
- Drafting appropriate consents, information barrier memos and engagement letters
- Ensuring compliance with the SRA Code of Conduct
- Acting as a trusted advisor to Partners and senior leadership

To be considered, you'll have/be:
- Be an England & Wales Qualified Lawyer
- Have extensive experience in Legal Conflicts or Risk Management (ideally 6/7+ years)
- Have worked for a UK or international law firm
- Be able to commute to the London office
- Have proven experience in managing a team
