Job overview An experienced scrub Theatre practitioner for a multiple speciality Day Surgery Unit. Join our dedicated Theatre team at Victoria Hospital Wimborne delivering exemptional elective care. You will be working in a modern, purpose built environment alongside a close-knit team who share a commitment to excellent patient outcomes, safety and collaborative working. You will play a vital role in ensuring smooth, safe and high quality theatre operations. This is a part time post of 25 hours per week. The post holder may be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service. Please note visa sponsorship for this role is unfortunately not available. Ensure you hold valid right to work in the UK and will not require sponsorship if successful. Advert Supporting and delivering safe patient care throughout the perioperative journey. Assisting with surgical procedures across a range of specialities including Orthopaedics, ENT, Gynaecology and General surgery. Assisting in equipment management, stock control and ensuing compliance with Infection prevention standards. Participating in clinical audits, data collection and driving improvements in theatre practice. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
