We are looking for a Materials Planner to join our clients team based in Wrexham on a permanent basis.Reporting to the MPL Manager, this highly demanding role requires the successful candidate to be assertive and have a high degree of self-motivation.
Performance Objectives
Demand Forecasting & Planning
oAbility to interpret forecasts and historical data.
oUse of MRP (Material Requirements Planning) systems to align material availability with production schedules.
Inventory Management
oMaintain optimal inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess.
oFamiliarity with inventory control techniques like JIT (Just-In-Time), EOQ (Economic Order Quantity), and safety stock calculations.
