Location: Fillongley, Warwickshire
Job Title: Senior Residential Support Worker
Salary: £30,500 to £34,100 depending on qualifications and experience
Earnings: £35,675 to £39,275 (Based on 10 sleep-ins per month paid at £45 per sleep)
Hours: 40.5per week plus sleep ins, paid at £45 per sleep (11 shifts per month)
Essential criteria: Driving licence + minimum 12 months experience working in a residential home for children
Desirable: Level 3 or 4 in Residential Childcare
Shift start times: 7:30am to 11pm followed by a sleep in, finish at 8am the following morning
Shift Pattern: 1 shift on, 2 shifts off
Hexagon Care Services are a leading provider of private residential childcare, education, and therapeutic support packages to children.
We have a temporary opening at one of our residential homes to work at the Senior Residential Support Worker. The home is in Fillongley, Warwickshire.
As a senior residential support worker, you will nurture and support the children and young people in your care, with all aspects of day-to-day tasks and activities. No two days are the same working in Residential Care for Children. If you enjoy working with children and possess the resilience to work with challenging behaviours having a nurturing and supportive approach to your practice, we want to hear from you! Whilst this isn't a permanent role, the successful candidate will have access to opportunities internally at Hexagon that don't make it outside of Hexagon.
Please note this is shift work shared equally amongst the team, and will require work across evenings, weekends. Bank holidays and public holidays are also worked but shared across the team.
