The role:
An exciting 6-month fixed term/secondment opportunity has become available for a Transformation Programme Manager within the GP Out of Hours (OOH) Service. This pivotal role will support our commitment to enhancing patient care and will play a key leadership role in the development and implementation of the GP Walk-in Centre (WiC).

The Transformation Programme Manager will work closely with the GP OOH Senior Management Team, providing leadership and expertise to support transformational change across the service. You will lead and facilitate service planning, performance improvement, and service redesign, ensuring that best practice and innovation are embedded throughout the development of the Walk-in Centre.
You will play a critical role in influencing change to improve quality, safety, efficiency and effectiveness, ensuring services remain responsive, sustainable and focused on delivering excellent patient experience.

Duration, Location, and Working Pattern:
1. Location based in Calendonia House
2. Fixed-term Contract for 6 months
3. Full-time Contract (37 hours per weeek)
4. Shift pattern for this post are Monday to Friday, 0900 - 1700

5. Lead and support transformational change programmes within GP OOH, with a specific focus on the GP Walk-in Centre
6. Facilitate service planning, performance management and service redesign
7. Work collaboratively with senior leaders and stakeholders to deliver agreed outcomes
8. Influence improvements in quality, safety, efficiency, effectiveness and patient-centred care
9. Support a culture of continuous improvement and staff engagement

Knowledge, training, qualifications and/or experience required to do the job:
11. Educated to a Degree Level, preferably at a Masters Level, or can clearly demonstrate they have experience operating at a strategic level.
12. A demonstrable track record of success in a senior management position within a complex environment incorporating the delivery of transformational change.
13. Significant senior management experience, preferably within the NHS.
14. Able to lead quality improvement projects.
15. Demonstrable track record of participation in education, experience in workforce planning, project management, and improvement methodologies in practice.
16. Ability to understand, communicate and influence policy initiatives and their implementation across a broad spectrum.
17. Ability to influence both individuals and teams to implement change to best effect both internally within NHS GGC and externally with other partners.
18. A high level of interpersonal, strategic and technical skills with a visible leadership style.
19. Proven track record of being able to work under pressure and using own initiative and to multi-task and manage complex projects simultaneously.
