Role and Responsibilities:
The Global IS Leader role will be responsible for overall strategic direction of technology innovation within the Winbro group, working directly with the leadership team to ensure IT meets internal and external customer bases. In addition, this position will be responsible for all enterprise applications across the global business, with a particular focus on Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) F&SCM and it's integration within the broader IT landscape. This role is responsible for the IT team, and through this team, is responsible for ensuring the alignment of enterprise systems and IT infrastructure with business goals and driving digital transformation initiatives to support our manufacturing operations.
Enterprise Systems Leadership
• Own the strategic roadmap for D365 F&SCM and other enterprise applications across global sites.
• Ensure D365 functionality supports key business processes in manufacturing, supply chain, finance and operations.
• Manage system architecture, integrations and performance across all sites.
• Oversee system upgrades, enhancements and support lifecycle management.
• Manage external vendors, consultants and Microsoft partners to deliver projects and resolve escalated issues.
• Foster a culture of accountability, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.
Stakeholder Engagement
• Partner with business leaders to align systems with strategic goals and operational needs.
• Act as a liaison between functional areas, ensuring high user satisfaction and collaboration.
• Provide clear reporting and updates to senior leadership regarding system performance, project delivery and risks.
Leadership and Managerial Responsibilities
• Responsible for the organization's overall IT budget, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and financial targets. In consideration of strategic planning for addressing additional budgetary needs, including emerging technology investments, infrastructure upgrades and operational requirements.
• Manage and monitor performance of staff, vendors and projects for the organization.
• Communicate effectively with senior management, stakeholders, and users, providing guidance, support and solutions for their IT needs and issues.
• Keep up with latest trends and innovations in IT and identify and implement new technologies and best practices that can improve the efficiency, effectiveness and value of Winbro's IT.
• Presentation to the leadership team of strategic plans and IT initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Transformation
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve system efficiency.
• Ensure alignment in all processes across global operations.
• Ensure that IT products, services, contracts and systems are compliant with relevant legislation, license requirements and policies and procedures.
• Liaise with HR to formalise and roll out continuous training initiatives.
• Drive digital transformation initiatives across the business, whilst enabling the delivery and continuous improvement of all core business systems.
• Stay current with industry trends, Microsoft updates and emerging technologies.
Governance & Risk Management
• Implement governance frameworks to ensure compliance, security and data integrity.
• Manage change control processes and ensure structured deployments across systems.
• Monitor system usage, data quality and user adoption metrics.
This position will have supervisory responsibilities
Requirements
We are looking for a talented Information Systems leader with 5+ years of experience managing enterprise systems, including Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SC, and 10+ years experience in a strategic leadership IT position within a global organization. The successful candidate will have proven experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment and can demonstrate experience in organizational decision-making, influencing and analytical skills, as well as the ability to prioritize, delegate, and coordinate multiple tasks and resources.
A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
