Class 1 Driver - Droitwich
We are currently recruiting for experienced HGV Class 1 drivers on an Temporary On-Going basis to meet the needs of the business at our busy Droitwich depot. The role consists of refrigerated multi drop deliveries to shops and stores, From 5 to 12 drops per day. The role involves cage deliveries of milk and some locations you are required to use a tail-lift to push and pull products being delivered.
Immediate starts after successful assessment and Induction.
Temporary On-Going Role, Potential Permanent positions for the successful candidates.
* Start Times between 2100 - 0200
* Must be able to work at least one day over the weekend or both days.
Day pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £15.87 (overtime after 47.5hrs £17.85)
* Saturday £17.85
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £23.80
Nights pay rates:
* Monday – Friday £18.13 (overtime after 47.5hrs £20.39)
* Saturday £20.39
* Sunday and Bank Holidays £27.19
30-minute break deducted per shift only!
Day to day duties will include the following:
* Driving with-in the WTD and EU regs and rules.
* Prepping vehicles for delivery.
* Completing vehicles checks.
* Refueling vehicles.
* Multi drop deliveries.
* Inter-depot and RDC deliveries.
* Manual Handling trolleys
* The Driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:
* At least 6 Months of Class one driving experience required.
* Excellent Communication skills.
* UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement.
* Digi & CPC Card No more than 6 points for minor offences.
