A long-standing client is seeking a high-calibre, full-time live-in Housekeeper for a beautifully maintained home in Virginia Water. This is a long-term role suited to someone who wants to settle, commit and take pride in keeping a high-end home immaculate. The household is calm and well organised, with visiting friends, family and grandchildren. A genuine love of dogs is essential.
Accommodation
The accommodation is outstanding and should be a significant attraction. It is a fully self-contained two-bedroom flat attached to the main house, finished to a very high standard. It includes an open plan kitchen and sitting room, marble floors, underfloor heating and complete privacy. The client wants someone who will genuinely live in and make this their long-term home.
Key Responsibilities
* Cleaning to a very high standard with excellent attention to detail
* Caring for delicate decorative items and accessories
* Keeping the home tidy, organised and well presented
* Laundry including handwashing and steaming of fine fabrics
* Wardrobe management
* Packing and unpacking for travel
* Occasional simple cooking and food preparation
* Supporting occasional informal dinners or family occasions
* Errands including dry cleaning and local shopping
* Liaising with contractors and tradespeople
* Maintaining and dressing terraces in warmer months
* Daily dog walking and general pet care.
* Full house sitting and dog sitting when the family travel
Requirements
* Experience in high end private households
* Exceptional eye for detail and presentation
* Organised, self-motivated and able to work independently
* Warm, polite and presentable
* Good spoken English and clear communication
* Trustworthy and discreet
* Comfortable using a modern home security system
* Must be a genuine dog lover
* Driver with good local awareness
