This role will be based around Asbestos / Fire / Legionella whilst being Field Based (our offices are in Lewes too) and this is a full-time opportunity.
Do it right because it matters
·Carry out asbestos, fire or Legionella assessments with technical accuracy and speed, always prioritising safety and compliance
·Deliver clear, evidence-based reports that clients can trust to take action
·Ensure every project meets or exceeds health and safety standards
Solve problems, not just identify them
·Use your expertise to recommend practical, risk-reducing solutions for each client
·Write clear, detailed specifications for remediation projects and confidently manage contractor activity
·Cross-sell other Summit services only when they bring meaningful value to the client’s wider risk profile
Build trust through relationships
·Develop and maintain strong partnerships with clients, always acting as a trusted advisor
·Represent Summit professionally at meetings, site visits and industry events
·Communicate confidently and professionally with contractors, clients and colleagues
Think like an owner
·Take responsibility for developing your own client base and identifying new business opportunities
·Proactively seek ways to improve services and efficiency across the business
·Contribute to wider business discussions, from recruitment and mentoring to process improvement and company strategy

Essential skills and experience due to the nature of the role
·Minimum 5 years in environmental surveying or consultancy
·Proven business development and client relationship skills
·Strong communication and interpersonal skills
·Confident with IT and report systems
·Full UK driving licence
Salary - 35-43k
