A well-regarded and long-established law firm in Hatfield Peverel is seeking an experienced Residential Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their friendly and supportive team. The Role
You will provide comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to a busy Residential Conveyancing department, ensuring the smooth progression of property transactions. Responsibilities include:
• Audio and copy typing
• Preparing and formatting legal documents
• Managing confidential client information
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties
• Supporting fee earners with day-to-day tasks
• Managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
About You
• Minimum 2 years experience as a Legal Secretary within Residential Conveyancing
• Strong typing accuracy and excellent attention to detail
• Confident using Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Experience with legal case management systems (advantageous)
• Knowledge of conveyancing-specific software (beneficial)
• Able to commute to Hatfield Peverel, with your own transport due to the rural location
