An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full time Data Quality Administrator to join our team.
Main duties of the job
The Data Quality Administrator role is pivotal in communicating the QOF/QiF/LES/DES practice attainment for generating income, promoting safety and maintaining quality for the Practice by undertaking searches, audits and updating templates as required to ensure the accuracy of clinical coding to accurately capture QoF information and for the accuracy of monthly claims for these services.
Issuing and monitoring patient invitations for monthly recall of Chronic Disease Management by running the relevant reports and searches through SystmOne and Ardens to make patient appointments via AccuRx, text, telephone, email or postal invitations.
Undertaking regular QOF/QiF checks to ensure any patients missed from the Long-Term Conditions register are followed up with appointments ensuring that the correct Clinical Coding and monitoring has been undertaken.
Scanning and filing of letters under the appropriate template and clinical coding of information from the letters capturing appropriate information for QoF purposes, follow up any actions keeping clinicians and staff updated.
Close working with external bodies requiring audits and information.
Reporting back to the GPs, Clinicians and Practice Manager regarding the QOF/QiF position, patients attendance and correct clinical coding.
Transparency and accuracy in monitoring claims and income.
This role includes development of new services as and when the contract or services change.

We are a large friendly 19,000 patient list size GP Practice based in Mansfield within Mansfield Community Hospital. We currently have 6 Partners, 6 Salaried GPs, a well established Nursing & Non-clinical admin team. We currently have a CQC rating of Outstanding. Job responsibilities

Workflow for cytology reports and recalls.
Child immunisation reports and recall.
QOF searches and templates.
Flu clinic management.
LES/DES/Minor Surgery LARC claims.
Minor surgery audit (to ensure accuracy of claims).
CQRS.
Organising & facilitating the annual follow programme including searches, patient invitations and updating templates.
Diabetic eye screening validation of lists.
Facilitation admission avoidance patient monitoring recalls and searches.
Clinical and non-clinical audit as required.
Adding and developing appropriate templates.
Claims for vaccinations.
Child immunisation quarterly report (in OpenExeter/PCSE).
Searches as required.
Set up reports in SystmOne.
Set up protocols.
Work together with teaching the basics of claims/searches with any new colleagues to the role.
In addition to the primary responsibilities, the data administrator may be requested to:
Partake in audit as directed by the Clinicians and Practice Manager.
Partake in new clinicians/non-clinicians overviewing the role.
Qualifications
* Experience using SystmOne & Ardens searches
* Understanding of data quality, clinical coding, recalls, patient searches
* Confident written and verbal communication skills
* Experience running clinical searches & coordinating recall programmes
* Ability to manage workload independently and work with minimal supervision
* Previous experience in a GP practice or similar role
* Educated to GCSE level or equivalent preferably C or grade 4 or above
