About Our Client
Our client is a medium-sized, Newcastle-Under-Lyme based professional services firm, specialising in providing comprehensive accounting and financial solutions to a diverse client base.
Job Description
* Assist in the preparation of accounts for clients across various sectors.
* Help to provide tax advice to clients.
* Support the wider team in delivering a first-class service to clients.
* Ensure that all financial documents and data are accurate and up-to-date.
* Collaborate with the team on the development and implementation of financial strategies.
* Maintain confidentiality of all financial data.
* Comply with all financial regulations and standards.
* Assist in the development of junior team members
* Prepare financial statements for limited companies and some sole traders/partnerships
* Prepare corporation tax computations
* Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts
* Prepare self-assessment tax returns
* Prepare VAT returns and provide client bookkeeping services
* Liaise with clients to resolve queries
* Undertake and perform other related duties as required
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Semi Senior should have:
* AAT qualified and/or working towards ACCA/ACA
* Have minimum 2 years of relevant practice experience
* Have good knowledge of UK GAAP/FRS102 (including Section 1A)
* Have good knowledge of Sage and Xero
* Have excellent written and verbal skills
