Overview
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong commitment to providing exceptional service. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring that our customers have a memorable experience. Your ability to manage time effectively while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness will be essential in this role.
Responsibilities
* Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
* Maintain a clean and organised bar area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
* Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests taking orders, and offering recommendations.
* Manage time efficiently during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality.
* Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly.
* Assist in the training of new staff members in bartending techniques and customer service skills.
* Monitor inventory levels of drinks and supplies, reporting any shortages or issues to management.
* Uphold food safety standards by ensuring all drinks are prepared in a hygienic manner.
Experience
* Previous experience in a bartending or restaurant environment is preferred but not mandatory; we value enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
* Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
* Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink recipes accurately.
* A good understanding of food safety practices is essential to maintain high hygiene standards.
* Excellent hospitality skills with the ability to engage positively with customers, ensuring their needs are met promptly.
* A passion for bartending with an eagerness to develop your skills further within the industry.
