Role Overview
As a Junior Consultant in our Energy Pod, you will play a hands‑on role in helping businesses understand and reduce their energy use and carbon impact. You’ll support customer projects by carrying out site energy surveys across the UK, gathering and analysing data, and contributing to compliance and reporting services such as ESOS.
Alongside your role, you will also have the opportunity to apply for an Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship. If accepted by the course provider, you’ll work towards a degree in sustainability/environmental practice while gaining valuable consultancy experience at Energise. Your time will be split between on‑the‑job learning and dedicated study, with full funding and study leave provided by us.
This pathway is ideal if you’re keen to build your career in sustainability while studying towards a recognised qualification.

* To be eligible for the apprenticeship: 112 UCAS points (or equivalent) and eligibility to study in the UK. Acceptance into the apprenticeship is subject to meeting the provider’s entry requirements and being formally accepted.
* Knowledge of ESOS or other energy compliance schemes.

* Pension scheme (matched up to 5%)
* Unlimited annual leave
* Your degree study will be fully funded through the Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship scheme, with Energise supporting your application and providing paid study leave.
* Employment with Energise does not automatically guarantee a place on the Environmental Practitioner Degree Apprenticeship. You must apply and be accepted by the course provider. We will support you through this process.
* Apprenticeship salaries are set lower than the full‑time consultant role to reflect the investment in your funded studies, with pay progression possible as you advance.
We’re more interested in your potential than a perfect match on paper. If this role excites you and you think you’d bring value, but you’re holding back because you don’t meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply. We’re building a team with different experiences, strengths, backgrounds, and perspectives.
Energise is committed to a policy of diversity, equity and inclusion in its recruitment process. We actively and consciously seek to recruit without bias on the grounds of race, colour, nationality, ethnic origin, gender, marital status, disability, beliefs (religious or other), age or sexual orientation of that employee.
