We are recruiting for an Operations Executive to support our newly launched online travel brands Neckermann Travel and Anextour.
This role is based at our head office in Leatherhead, Surrey and is ideal for an admin travel professional who is looking to work for a dynamic and forward-thinking travel company who can offer excellent career growth opportunities.
We welcome applicants with no direct travel experience, as long as they can demonstrate a genuine passion for travel, administration, and the desire to work in a start-up environment.
Purpose of Position
To ensure all post booking administrative functions operate efficiently and meet agreed business timescales and best practice.
Working Hours
The Operation Department is open from 8am to 8pm 24/7. In addition, the Operations Department also incorporates our Duty Office which provides an 'on call' emergency 24hr helpline.
The successful candidate will be required to work a 37.5 hour week within a shift pattern.
Daily Tasks
* To complete all daily tasks including but not limited to customer amendments, confirmation and cancellation reports and rooming lists.
* Make accurate recordings of all phone calls, emails and letters received into the business on the in-house systems
Service
* Provide a first-class service when handling all emails and phone calls, in line with agreed service levels.
* Maintain clear, effective, and consistent communication with internal and external partners.
Process
* Follow business guidelines and processes to safeguard revenue and enhance the customer experience.
* Suggest improvements to business systems and processes
* Identify and resolve any future risk to our business
* Meet business timescales and follow departmental processes.
Finance
* Record all financial activity and issues relating to loss, compensations, amendments and reclaims on in-house systems and loss/error matrix
* Investigate and resolve escalated finance queries
Team Work
* Be available to offer assistance and advice to colleagues
* Feedback to your line manager any issues or recommendations in a timely manner
Other Tasks
* Escalate any issues preventing the completion of tasks within the set business timescales.
* Take on any additional tasks, projects, or responsibilities as directed by the business.

* Someone who has experience or a true desire to work in the Travel Industry
* Experience within a busy admin department or call centre
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Keen eye for detail
* Positive, confident and enthusiastic
* PC literate
