Career Teachers are currently recruiting for a dedicated and qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join an amazing Specialist School within the Romford area.
Within this role, you would support children with moderate to severe needs, aged between 2 – 19 years.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support the school in meeting the needs of children with SLCN and promote good practice.
* Ensure children are in environments that support speech, language, and communication development throughout the school day.
* Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate support for children and young people with speech, language, and communication needs.
* Collaborate as a key partner for the school, supporting its vision of integrated speech and language therapy and functional communication development.
* Assist senior leaders in maintaining communication and supportive practices, and support long-term planning for children with SLCN.
* Contribute to formal assessment processes for children with long-term SLCN or Educational Health and Care Plans.
