We are looking for a passionate, dynamic and committed Senior Residential Support Worker to head up our existing fantastic team of caring individuals who provide 24 hour specialist care and support to our young people. We require an experienced individual with a minimum of 12 months working within UK based children's residential care and are ready to take the next step in their career and ideally be working towards their Level 3 qualification or equivalent and hold a full UK driving licence with business insurance. Please note no sponsorship will be available now or in the future. Our warm and welcoming home based in Westhoughton, Greater Manchester can care for up to 2 young people aged 7-18 with emotional behavioural difficulties and Autism, the role will initially be to cover maternity leave and then you may have to move over to another one of our homes within a 5 mile radius this will be discussed in more detail during the interview process. Working alongside the Registered and Deputy Manager, you will be responsible for leading from the front, organising the small team of staff ensuring all policies and procedures are adhered to, all care plans are up to date and liaising with health officials regarding the young person's care. Shifts will be rota based and will include early, late and sleep shifts (up to 10 per month) rotas will be issued at least 4 weeks in advance to give you the perfect work/life balance and plenty of time off in between to feel refreshed and energised during shifts.
