Customer Services Advisor - Waste

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual to join our team and support the launch of the new Food Waste Service. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for customer service.

37 hours per week
£15 per hour
On-site requirement: 3 days per week
Role Overview
As the first point of contact for customer enquiries, you will provide accurate information and resolve queries via telephone, email, and webchat. You will play a vital role in ensuring customer satisfaction, handling sensitive issues with professionalism and empathy, and maintaining accurate records using the Bartec system. Key Responsibilities
Respond to enquiries about the Food Waste Service across multiple channels.
Deliver courteous, professional, and empathetic support.
Manage sensitive situations and de-escalate conflict when necessary.
Accurately record customer interactions and service requests in Bartec.
Ensure compliance with safeguarding policies and data protection legislation. Skills and Experience Required
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
Experience in a customer-focused environment.
Knowledge of local government services (desirable).
Experience handling sensitive and confidential information.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
