Overview
As an X-Ray Field Service Engineer, you deliver technical support, maintenance, and repair services for Agfa Radiology’s imaging products. You will travel to customer sites and be responsible for the installation, commissioning, maintenance and servicing of imaging equipment and associated ICT/electrical equipment to ensure proper functioning and optimal performance. You act as a liaison between Agfa Radiology Solutions and our customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and timely resolution of technical issues.
Responsibilities
* Work in cooperation with Agfa’s Shared Service Centre to carry out service, maintenance, updates and installation of products.
* Maintain all test equipment, tools and company property in good working order and process spare parts in accordance with policy.
* Expand your knowledge and that of colleagues and customers, ensuring continuous development and improvement.
* Build relationships and maintain team working with all internal and external partners.
* Adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies and work procedures.
* Identify and escalate situations impacting customer satisfaction and/or contractual obligations.
* Work as part of a multidisciplinary team within the organisation to ensure achievement of goals.
Experience and Qualifications
* You have an HNC/D degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or engineering; alternatively qualified by extensive experience.
* Ideally you will have previous field service experience in a similar role.
* You will have strong IT, Microsoft Office and Networking Infrastructure skills.
* You hold a full UK driving licence.

Profile
* You have a bachelor’s degree in electromechanics, electronics, computer science or equivalent, or several years’ experience in a similar role.
* You have excellent problem-solving skills.
* You have experience in working in a medical environment.
* You have a valid driving licence category B.
* Willing to travel to customers on a daily basis.
* You are a team player with strong self-motivation.
