Omega are supporting well-established building services contractor, in Wakefield, in their search for a skilled AutoCAD Technician. The successful AutoCAD Technician will be responsible for producing high-quality technical drawings for HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements. This is a full-time, office-based role requiring strong CAD expertise, accuracy, and the ability to work within deadlines.
Key Responsibilities - AutoCAD Technician
1. Produce 2D AutoCAD drawings for mechanical and electrical building services, including HVAC layouts, plumbing schematics, and electrical wiring diagrams.
2. Interpret engineer's designs, sketches, and specifications into accurate CAD drawings.
3. Maintain drawing standards, layering conventions, and file management procedures.
4. Revise and update drawings based on mark-ups and feedback from engineers and project managers.
5. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, technical standards, and company quality procedures.
