Your New CompanyAforward-thinking public sector organisation is seekingexperienced and qualified Fire Risk Assessors to join its dedicated Fire Safetyteam. Operating within a large and diverse property portfolio, the organisationis committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, andcustomer care. This role plays a vital part in ensuring buildings across theestate remain safe, compliant, and effectively managed in line with statutoryfire safety requirements.Your New RoleYou will be joining aspecialist team responsible for delivering fire risk assessments and supportingfire safety compliance across a large and varied corporate portfolio. As one ofthree Fire Risk Assessors, your responsibilities will include:
* Carrying out Type 1, 2, and 3 Fire Risk Assessments across a wide range of buildings.
* Ensuring full compliance with fire safety requirements across the corporate estate.
* Using your detailed knowledge of FRA processes to assess fire risk holistically and accurately communicate identified issues.
* Identifying suitable remedial works and ensuring recommendations align with organisational timeframes and FRA process documentation.
* Providing technical fire safety advice to colleagues and serving as a contact point for external organisations where required.
* Building strong working relationships with contractors, internal teams, and customers to ensure effective information sharing and reporting.
What You'll Need to SucceedTo excel in this role,you will bring:
* A strong technical background with in-depth knowledge of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and associated fire safety legislation and guidance.
* Tier 2 accreditation via IFSM as a minimum (or the willingness to obtain it).
* A recognised fire safety qualification, such as NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management, IFE, or an equivalent.
* A minimum Grade 3 fire risk assessment qualification (FPA, IFE, or similar), or registration with a recognised competent body.
* Experience in the fire safety industry, including experience conducting Fire Risk Assessments within social housing settings.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate fire risk and good fire safety practices to a wide range of stakeholders.
