Chair (Non-Executive) – Membership & Professional Standards Body Part-time - 40 days per year - £20,000 per annum (actual salary) An established UK membership organisation operating within a regulated professional services environment is seeking an experienced Non-Executive Chair to provide strategic leadership, strong governance and trusted support to its Chief Executive. This is a high-impact, part-time role suited to a senior leader with proven board-level experience who enjoys shaping strategy, fostering effective governance, and acting as a critical friend to executive leadership. The Role As Chair, you will lead and align the organisation’s governing and executive boards, ensuring high standards of accountability, ethical conduct and long-term strategic focus. You will act as the CEO’s direct reporting line and a trusted sounding board, while remaining non-executive and independent from day-to-day operations.
