We are seeking a passionate individual to join our team at Lynwood & Co in the role of Cook. Located in the picturesque Cotswolds, this position is vital to our mission of delivering exceptional food experiences while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for our community.
Responsibilities
* Ensure all food is produced in compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
* Collaborate with team members to maintain an efficient kitchen environment.
* Assist in menu planning and development based on seasonal ingredients.
* Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
* Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
* Contribute to a positive team culture focused on quality service.
* Engage with customers to enhance their dining experience.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in food production and preparation within a professional kitchen. Experience with Sourdough essential
* Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking.
* Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
* Familiarity with restaurant operations is beneficial.
