About the team and the role
You will be part of, which is is Ocado Retail’s rapid grocery offering, delivering groceries in under 60 minutes to customers from our fully-automated warehouses. This is a rare opportunity to become a key member of the CRM team, within a wider dynamic and growing Zoom team, working to rapidly scale the business as we expand across London and further afield to win in the fast-growing immediacy grocery market.
Working closely with the wider CRM team and reporting to the Senior Customer Lead, the Senior CRM Executive is responsible for both the day-to-day execution and the long-term strategic direction of our lifecycle marketing. Your mission is to drive growth, retention, and frequency across all customer life stages through our BAU communications.
As part of a lean, "start-up" style team, you will thrive on autonomy and self-management. You will be expected to translate customer needs into persuasive creative communications, leveraging data to ensure every message hits the mark. A key focus of this role is maximizing the capabilities of our new marketing technology stack to create operational efficiencies while delivering measurable commercial growth.
What you’ll do
1. End-to-End Campaign Management: Drive CRM commercial performance by overseeing key topline metrics and owning the development, production, and deployment of multi-channel campaigns across Email, Push, SMS, and Direct Mail.
2. Performance Reporting & Insight: Take full accountability for reporting across all segments and campaigns. You will translate raw data into actionable insights, presenting "the why" behind the numbers to the wider business.
3. A/B Testing: Design and implement a rigorous A/B testing roadmap to improve and optimise open rates, CTRs, and conversion metrics across the entire funnel.
4. Platform Orchestration: Act as a "Super User" of our marketing tools (Braze, Movable Ink). You will partner with vendors to ensure we are utilising the latest features, with a focus on personalisation, real-time data triggers and operational efficiencies.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with the Trade teams to align CRM activity with the wider commercial calendar, ensuring a consistent brand voice and stock availability.

6. CRM Specialist: You have a proven track record of building highly segmented, personalised customer communications in a fast-paced environment.
7. Customer-First & Commercially Minded: You don’t just send emails; you drive business outcomes. You are comfortable making data-driven trade-offs to balance customer experience with commercial targets.
8. Detail-Oriented: You have a "measure twice, cut once" mentality, ensuring all logic, links, and creative assets are flawless before hitting send.
9. Stakeholder Influencer: You possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build collaborative and productive relationships across key internal teams (Trade, Ops, Insight, Customer Service).
10. Proactive Problem Solver: You have a "start-up" mindset—willing to roll up your sleeves to fix a bug one minute and present a campaign deep dive the next.
11. Analytical & Curious: You are naturally inquisitive, always looking for the "next big win" in the data and willing to challenge the status quo.
12. Technical Toolkit: * Preferred: Experience with CRM platforms (Braze or similar) and data visualization tools (e.g., Looker). Basic to intermediate HTML/CSS for email, and a working knowledge of Liquid logic is a plus.
