What will your day-to-day responsibilities look like?
1. Confirming adherence to the relevant quality procedures and requirements.
2. Working to route cards, work instructions and drawings.
3. Verification of Quality Assured Product including:Works Order completion and stamping.Visual inspection and verification of conformance to product standards.Material traceability and serialisation (As required).Issue and Build Standard (Version) control.Quality compliance (including FAI coverage, concessions, permits and release gateways).Completion of Quality requirements and QN closure.Gateway inspection for Quality checklists and any additional alerts.Basic measurement techniques and Hand Gauging.
4. Part cleaning and protection.
5. Declaring any non-conformance's and working with quality to disposition parts.
6. Finalising paperwork and system transaction on completed work prior to dispatch.
7. Control, operate and maintain stock control systems as appropriate.
8. Other duties as required to support the operational team.
9. General team working duties - including continuous improvement and 5S activities.
10. Carrying out all activities in accordance with the EH&S procedures.
What will you bring to the role?
11. Sheet Metal Fabrication, Machining and Quality Inspection experience
12. Conscientious with attention to detail.
13. Willing to work under own initiative in a medium volume production environment.
14. Ability to communicate effectively.
15. PC literacy – with capability to perform basic transactional duties.
Personal Characteristics:
16. Highly-motivated, flexible, responsive to change, and calm under pressure
17. Ability to support technical discussions related to welding
18. Quality assurance focused
19. Candidate must be computer literate
20. Works well in a team environment and has the ability to work across various departmental functions within the Company
Experience:
21. Level 3 NVQ or City and Guilds in a relevant discipline
22. Previous Assembly and Inspection experience (Desirable).
23. Apprentice served (Desirable)
