About the role
We are currently looking to appoint a Senior Quality Engineer to join a growing international manufacturer in the North West!
The appointed will be exposed to all areas of quality assurance (ISO9001, customer complaints and supplier audits) and have some involvement in H&S, Energy and Environmental policies.
It is important you have worked for a fast-paced manufacturing company and have at least five years of quality engineer experience.
Your Role & Responsibilities:
* Handle customer complaints, investigate and implement effective corrective actions
* Maintenance and development of the corrective action systems (NCR and Audit)
* Day to day involvement with ISO9001 accredited quality management system
* Maintain the approved suppliers list for the UK and EU suppliers.
* Conduct supplier audits
Your Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of ONC/OND with over 5 years of industry experience in a quality management role
* Experienced with audits, lead auditor training would be beneficial
* Knowledge of ISO9001 required. Knowledge of ISO14001 / ISO18001 advantageous
* Practical experience of co-ordinating and initiating improvement activities with 8D / root cause analysis
