Hays Belfast are recruiting for a Belfast-basedpany who are looking to recruit a Project Manager for their Fit-Out Division. Your newpany specialise in Construction and Fit out ofmercial, Residential, Education, and Health schemes to name a few. Your new role
As Project Manager, you will be working under an experienced, professional Construction Director to deliver high-quality fit outs in the new & excitingmercial spaces across Ireland. Working as the Construction Directors number 2 within the team, you’ll help direct your management staff to ensure that any project you work on is delivered to the highest standards in the most cost and time-efficient manner possible. Your newpany prides itself on its open and collaborative attitude towards its clientele, and you will help ensure every project meets the standards directed by the client. Working alongside subcontractors, other site stakeholders, and supply chain client needs this will be a challenging yet rewarding role. Managing multiple schemes and ensuring quality and health and safety are adhered too, you will develop revenue streams and ensure project delivery in a time and cost-effective manner.
What you'll need to succeed
A bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering (or equivalent) or proven trade experience at the same or similar level to a project manager (preferably in Joinery).
A minimum of five years proven experience in construction management in a fit-out role or equivalent, with experience working with several subcontractors who interface with each other.The ability to understand and resolveplex problems in the fast-paced environment of construction. Proficiency in Project Management software, spreadsheets, and other relevant tools.Relevant construction management tickets, such an SMSTS ticket or NVQ level 6. A First Aid at Work Qualification (Preferred).
