You possess excellent knowledge of building, contracts, and housing legislation, and you’re adept at managing projects and using data and project management systems. You are flexible and capable of adapting to changing circumstances. What the Job Involves The role involves managing refurbishment, reinvestment, and new build schemes for Havering residents, ensuring the delivery of a high-quality, customer-centric service. You will be responsible for appointing consultants, managing contractors, overseeing project performance, and ensuring compliance with safety and building regulations. You will prepare project documentation, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement within the Housing Directorate. Building strong internal and external relationships is a key part of the role, alongside maintaining compliance with corporate and team plans.
