About the Role We are recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a CQC-registered residential service providing supervised detoxification and a trauma-informed therapeutic rehabilitation programme.
This is a key leadership role responsible for the day-to-day management and regulatory compliance of the service, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care for all clients. The successful candidate will promote a culture of recovery, safety, and continuous improvement within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and all relevant health and social care legislation.
Provide strong leadership to nursing, therapeutic, and recovery staff, fostering teamwork and high standards of care.
Oversee detoxification processes, safeguarding, and risk management procedures.
Implement and manage a trauma-informed therapeutic programme integrating CBT and 12-Step approaches.
Lead on quality assurance, audits, and preparation for CQC inspections.
Manage admissions, assessments, and discharge planning, ensuring a person-centred approach.
Liaise with commissioners, external agencies, and families to ensure collaborative care.
Maintain accurate records, audits, and performance reports.Essential Requirements
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (or equivalent).
Registered with or eligible for CQC registration as a Registered Manager.
Significant experience managing substance misuse, mental health, or residential care services.
Strong knowledge of detoxification protocols, recovery models, and CQC compliance.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational ability.Desirable
Experience with trauma-informed care, CBT, and 12-Step facilitation.
Knowledge of commissioning frameworks and service development.
