Gloucester Ward H304 provides pre and post operative care across a range of subspecialties in our Ophthalmic Services.
Care is delivered at the highest standard, and patient experience is paramount within our team.
Our services operate 24/7.
The post holder will work with the ward sister/charge nurse and multidisciplinary team members to monitor and maintain policies, standards of nursing care, and staff development as part of the ward team.
Flexibility in approach to the clinical area is required to provide cover for any specified area.
Main duties include:
* Pre and post operative care to patients from different specialties.
* Following a criteria-led discharge process.
* ILS trained.
* Administering medications (CMM).
* Liaising with other teams and departments.
* Providing holistic care.
