We’re recruiting for a proactive and organised Sales Administrator to join a friendly manufacturing business based just outside Malton. This is a varied role combining reception duties, sales administration, and stock and logistics support, where you’ll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and ensuring customers receive excellent service. We’re looking for someone confident and proactive who will take ownership of this role and see tasks through to completion, allowing the sales team to focus on winning new business. Some of the key Sales Administrator duties are: Act as the first point of contact, greeting visitors, managing calls, emails, and CRM enquiries in a professional and friendly manner Maintain an organised reception area and coordinate team calendars, demos, deliveries, and schedules Process orders for machines and parts, prepare quotes, invoices, and confirmations, and manage payments where required Provide accurate admin support for sales and service teams, including stock records, updates, and reporting Support logistics by booking transport and pallets, updating delivery and demo schedules, and liaising with production and despatch teams Assist with stock control, including coding, labelling, and general office organisation Strong communication skills are key, as you’ll be in regular contact with customers by phone and email, and excellent organisation will help you manage busy and varied responsibilities. You’ll fit in well with the team if you’re confident, approachable, and happy to get stuck in and lend a hand where needed. This is a full-time permanent position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm. You’ll have the option of a one-hour lunch break or a 30-minute lunch if preferred and finish at 4:30pm.
